Navigating a Large Space with a Custom U-Shaped Island
This Edmonds new build gave us the opportunity to design one of our most unique and creative kitchen layouts to date! Because the room featured a grand, elongated footprint, we wanted to ensure we utilized the space in a way that felt both intentional and high-functioning.
The solution was a striking, long U-shaped island that truly does it all. By placing the working zones on the inside and wrapping the exterior with additional storage and both counter and bar-height seating, we created a multi-functional hub for the home. A major bonus? This orientation allows the homeowners to enjoy their stunning water views while prepping at the sink or cooking at the range.
The perimeter is equally impressive, housing the ovens and refrigeration, along with a dedicated bar area featuring a wine dispenser for effortless entertaining. To complete the look, we included elegant glass display cabinetry at the dining end, perfectly tying the entire aesthetic together.
