A Designer’s Vision: Reflective Modernity Meets Coastal Warmth

It is always a special experience when a client with a background in interior design returns for another project! This repeat Pedini client truly got to "flex her design muscles," collaborating with us to create a kitchen that is as much a work of art as it is a functional space.
The primary goal for this new build was to create an immediate "wow factor" as you ascend the stairs from the entry. To honor the home’s ultra-modern architecture and stunning coastal location, we focused on reflectivity to pull those beautiful water views inside. We achieved this through a sophisticated mix of back-painted glass uppers, a sleek glass backsplash, and elegant glass display cabinetry at the top. These reflective surfaces are perfectly grounded by textured metallic laminate on the base and tall cabinetry, adding depth and an edgy, modern touch.
To ensure the space felt like an inviting "great room" rather than a cold gallery, we balanced the sleek finishes with the warmth of natural wood floors and ceilings. The entire area is bathed in natural light thanks to a floor-to-ceiling NanaWall, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

Professional-Grade Appliances: A full Miele suite and a Sub-Zero wine fridge.
Smart Storage: An "eclipse" pocket door cabinet within the walk-in pantry to keep essentials accessible yet tucked away.
The result is a luxury sanctuary perfectly tailored for a home chef who loves to host in style.
